Epilin Hair Remover Review

Hello my lovely readers! How have you been lately? I believe classes has officially started and that's probably why the blogosphere has been quieter than usual.

Have you joined my Firmoo give-away yet? If not, then what are you waiting for?

I have a another give-away coming up but I'm still doing some negotiations with the sponsors. Watch out for it!

Anyway, let's now get into the main topic of this post.

This isn't the most pleasant topic there is but let's talk about a problem that most girls have to painstakingly deal with: armpit hair. How do you deal with it? Do you shave? Do you pluck? Now you may have heard that apart from permanent laser hair removal, the best way to deal with underarm hair is to wax.

Wax is just ouch. But then again, beauty is pain. Let me just share to you guys my fave brand: Epilin.

Epilin Hair Remover. This happened to be their smallest size.

I've tried various brands when it comes to waxing. Some work, some don't. For instance cold wax from Veet and Glamworks are great for arms and legs but not for underarm. I tried other hot wax too but none are as good as Epilin.

One great advantage of waxing is that it takes a long time for the hair to grow back. I only wax twice a month. That's all I need.

It already comes with a spatula and instructions for beginners.

Instructions. It's pretty clear here already so I guess I won't have to retype.

My own personal tricks on how to use it:

1) Make sure that the wax has cooled down a bit or else, you'll burn yourself. Take a small amount first and dab it on your skin.
2) Don't wait too long for it to cool down. It becomes less stickier the cooler it gets. And at one point, even if it's still sticky enough to be applied, it's not as effective anymore in pulling hair.
3) Unlike the usual waxing method, this product doesn't require a strip of cloth when you have to pull it off your skin already.

The ingredients. It has the usual beeswax.

One last look at Epilin Hair Remover.

What I like about it:
It works!
Affordable

What I don't like:
It takes practice.
It's a big waste if you use this for legs and arms.

However, the rating is:
5/5

This is a necessity already for me and I'm quite tired of looking for other brand of wax so needless to say, I will repurchase!

Have you tried other products similar to this?

Thanks for reading, have a great day!

  8. Do u have an idea where could i buy it here at cagayan de oro? Ive been shaving for years and it really look worst. The area of the hair where it should be growing extends and if i will keep on shaving might be the thick hair would reach up to my elbow. Gush. Is it really effective? I dont want to go to salon for waxing, i know ill be wasting my money where in fact i can do it by myself and ill be saving up.

    Thank you.
