Sticker for MetE Week Celebration

Here's another lil something that Clifford and I made together. You have no idea how long it took us to finish this little project. We had so many contradicting ideas. He's so much of a traditional artist, he's somehow skeptical about photoshop. It's like technology sapped art of its true sense by making everything easy. I tried to explain to him how digital art may be a bit different from traditional art, but in the end he just made me realize that i haven't got a clue about what i was talking about.

Another thing is colors. He can play with colors, like i can play with words. He can easily balance multiple colors whereas I'd rather have it black and white and pink, or any other bright color, but always, just one other color.

So in the end, it's his talent and my skill again that enabled us to finish this project. That meant, everything is his idea, while i thought of ways to bring into completion what he had in mind. I realized in the end that it's really a sort of mentoring. He teaches me art while I teach him photoshop. So despite the arguments, it's probably all worth it.
Hahaha.. what am i talking about? Of course, it's always worth it.

Anyway, this is a little sticker used for the tokens for the judges at MetE's cultural night. Kristiane, one of our closest friends, is the president and we just had to help him out.

Happy Birthday Xtian!

This is a combination of Clifford's talent in art and my skill in photoshop. Kristiane is one of our closest friends. But because we lacked the time, we weren't able to come up with anything that we can be both proud of. In fact Clifford was ranting all the while how he's not really on the mood to do anything artistic, and i was limited too because all my brushes got deleted and the internet so darn slooow i can't download new ones.

Despite that, we made Kristiane happy i think. O well. So here it is, our birthday gift to Kristiane:
